Connexion FireWire disparue (WIN7)

Question

Ma connexion FireWire (IEEE P1394) a disparu

si je fait le test avec DriverMax, il note son existence, mais quand je connecte un disque dur externe avec un câble FireWire celui-ci n'apparaît plus, alors que si je connecte avec un câble USB il n'y a pas de problème

je précise qu'il s'agit d'un iMac partitionné, et que la connexion et le câble FireWire du disque dur externe fonctionne très bien quand je me connecte sur le côté Apple de mon ordinateur : donc ce n'est pas un problème de disque dur externe, ni un problème de câble, ni de connexion

MÉTHODE PLUS SIMPLE - PERTE  CONNEXION FIREWIRE (IEEE 1394°

la perte de ma connexion FireWire (IEEE 1394) s'étant reproduite (à cause d'un logiciel qui mettait à jour automatiquement mes drivers : à éviter), j'ai trouvé une méthode plus simple pour  retrouver cette connexion

1. aller sur le gestionnaire de périphériques et chercher "Contrôleur d’hôte compatible OHCI 1394" ou en anglais **"**LSI OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394a Host Controller" ou équivalent

le désinstaller

2. éteindre l'ordinateur
3. brancher l'appareil qui doit fonctionner avec la prise FireWire (IEEE 1394) (disque dur externe, caméscope, etc.)
4. rallumer l'ordinateur : ce dernier va rechercher le bon driver

... et cela MARCHE !

Bonjour Jeehemb,

L’accès au BIOS diffère selon le modèle de votre machine. Reportez-vous donc à la documentation de votre carte mère.

Si le port IEEE1394 est défini sur « Enable » (activé) dans le BIOS, il faut télécharger les pilotes les plus récents sur le site du constructeur.

Avez-vous vérifié le pilote IEEE1394 est bien installé et activé dans le gestionnaire de périphériques/ cartes réseau ?

· Si une croix rouge apparait, activez le périphérique en choisissant « utiliser ce périphérique »

· Si une croix jaune apparait, faites un clic droit sur la ligne « contrôleur hôte IEEE-1394 » et choisissez désinstaller. Redémarrez en suite votre machine

Vérifiez aussi au démarrage dans le BIOS que le port IEEE-1394 est bien activé.

 

Sinon, déterminez le modèle de la carte IEE1394 pour télécharger les derniers pilotes.

le plus simple c'est que je vous fasse une copie d'écran du gestionnaire de périphérique :

le seul endroit où il y a une référence à un bus IEEE 1394a est l'endroit surligné sur l'image [LSI (Agere) OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394a Host Controller], sans croix rouge ou triangle jaune

en revanche je ne sais pas comment vérifier dans le BIOS que le port IEEE est activé

le plus étrange, c'est que, comme je vous l'ai dit, ce port marche très bien lorsque je redémarre cet ordinateur sous Mac !
