Bonjour,

J'ai une licence Exchange Online plan 2 qui permet l'augmentation de stockage de la messagerie de 50 à 100 Go.

A ce jour, je suis toujours bloqué à 50 Go. Comment débloquer à 100 Go ?

Merci par avance

Cordialement

    Hi, M.E.C.1

Thanks for your update. This is a tricky issue that you could not find it.

Please be kindly to understand that for our community is a public place for sharing and discussing. In order to protect your privacy, we have already removed the invoice number from the above.

Since the issue has to be checked on the backend, we recommend you to hotline with Microsoft Billing team directly -Rechercher des numéros de téléphone de support Microsoft 365 pour les entreprises par pays ou région - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn.

Microsoft Billing team has only required permission to check it on the backend. They are the only responsible and privileged support team for billing issues.

Here are some tips and an example of a prompt to help you navigate the IVR more effectively:

In some countries, it is an automated conversation like: First, when you call the hotline, it will be asked as follows:

IVR: What kind of problem are you concerned about?

    Customer: Billing

IVR: What kind of product do you use?

    Customer: Office 365 for business.

IVR confirmation: education or company account?

    Customer: For companies

    IVR: Are you an administrator?

    Customer: Yes.

IVR: Do you have the other administrator in your organization?

    Customer: No.

IVR: Do you need a... Service request?

    Customer: Yes

Thank you for your precious time and your kind understanding.

I hope this information helps you to reach data protection team to open ticket.
Hope you everything is going well for you.

Thank you for your precious time and your understanding would be highly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Hello

After checking the billing account, I don't see Exchange Online (plan 2) anywhere, even though I pay €9 by credit card every month.

The invoice of 17/02/2025 bears the number **********. If you wish, I can give you the order number.

Can Exchange Online Plan 2 be installed on a Microsoft 365 Business Basic license?

How do I recover Exchange Online Plan 2?

    Thank you in advance,

    Kind regards

    M.E.C.

    Hi, M.E.C.1

Sorry for the late reply and I wish you had a great weekend.

Based on your new update, it sounds like there might be a mix-up with the license assignment.

Here’s how you can resolve this:

    1. Remove Exchange Online Plan 1:
      • Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • Navigate to Users > Active users.
      • Select the user whose license you want to change.
      • In the Licenses and Apps section, uncheck Exchange Online (Plan 1).
    2. Assign Exchange Online Plan 2:
      • After removing Plan 1, you should be able to assign Plan 2.
      • If you don't see Exchange Online Plan 2 in the Licenses and Apps section, you may need to purchase it through the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • Go to Billing > Purchase services and look for Exchange Online Plan 2. Once purchased, assign it to the user.
    3. Verify the Changes:
      • After making these changes, it might take some time for them to propagate. Check back after a while to ensure the mailbox size has increased to 100 GB.

    Comment faire ?

    Hi, M.E.C.1

    Good day!

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist you!

According to your description, to unlock the 100 GB email storage with your Exchange Online Plan 2 license, you need to ensure that the mailbox is properly assigned the Plan 2 license.

First of all, may I know whether you're the administrator of your organization?

If not, please contact your administrator and refer below. (Please be kindly to understand that only administrator has the permission to do these.)

    1. Check License Assignment:
    2. Enable Archiving:
    3. Wait for Changes to Apply:
      • Changes might take some time to propagate. If the mailbox size doesn't increase immediately, give it some time and check back later.

    • Note: Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Please feel free to share it with us and we will stick with you.

Hope you all the best and looking forward to your new updates!

    Sincerely,

    Alex | Microsoft Community Moderator.
