Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

To recover the deleted files from your device, open the recycle bin folder and restore all the deleted items.

If you're unable to locate the items in the desktop recycle bin folder, go to https://onedrive.live.com/ and sign in with your Microsoft account.

Select the recycle bin folder and restore all the deleted items to your computer.

This is how OneDrive works on your Windows PC-

When you set up Windows 11 using your Microsoft account, folders like Desktop, Documents, Pictures, Music, and Videos will automatically sync between your PC and OneDrive cloud.

If you make any changes to these folders, they will be automatically deleted across all your synced devices and from the cloud.

For example, if you go to OneDrive > Documents > and delete a file, it will be delete from your PC as well. This happens because that folder is synced, changes you make in OneDrive sync automatically between your computer and the cloud.

To see your synced folders, right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar and select Settings > Click Manage backup. You can turn off the OneDrive sync for the folders you no longer want to sync with OneDrive.

    • To permanently unlink your account from OneDrive, right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar, select Settings > Accounts > Unlink this PC.

Your files will no longer sync to cloud (OneDrive).

Let me know if you still need more help.
