Thank you for the detailed follow-up, and I appreciate the care you've taken.
Don't worry forcing stop or uninstalling the app will not delete your OneDrive data, as everything is safely stored in the cloud. Please try to force stop OneDrive app this just closes it completely. Reopen the app and check again this often triggers a fresh sync. If that doesn’t help, go ahead and uninstall and reinstall OneDrive. As long as you're signed in with the correct Microsoft account, your files will reappear no data will be lost.
