Hello

i have a smtp linux based server i use at as smtp server and i have a domain name that i use to send emails my server doesn’t have a rdns lately i am facing a probleme when testing my server my ips adresse get blacklisted by spamhaus i didnt have this probleme until last month just by testing my email server i get listed by spamhaus i switch IPs and face the same problem again and again

Regarding the PTR record, it is quite outdated and is no longer supported by most DNS providers.

Please note that Microsoft does not manage PTR records, as these are controlled by your domain registrar or hosting provider.

If the issue is related to this record, I recommend contacting your domain registrar directly. They are responsible for managing your DNS settings and can advise you on whether it's possible to add or modify a PTR record for your domain. However, as mentioned earlier, due to its age, many registrars may not support it anymore.

Furthermore, I suggest you should visit https://check.spamhaus.org/ to check the status of your IP and, if necessary, request delisting from Spamhaus.

thank you for your response

i am currently working on a project to create my own smtp server and i have an ip adresse and a domain name

the problem is when i test me smtp to any Microsoft isp hotmail outlook etc my ip adresse get blacklisted by spamhaus without any reason and iv been told that i need to add something to my server configuration like a ptr record
