Hi! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. When you try to install from the Microsoft portal, what exactly happens? If you haven’t already, I recommend fully removing the current Microsoft 365 installation first, as leftover Click-to-Run components can block a clean reinstall.
- Uninstall Microsoft 365/Office from Settings > Apps > Installed apps (or Control Panel).
- Then run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) removal tool to clean up remaining Office components. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=103391 Restart the PC.
After the restart, reinstall the exact Office version you own by signing in with the Microsoft account that has the license, then selecting Office apps > Install from your Microsoft account dashboard.
