Remarks

The ConnectToEvents method specifies the OnTotalRowCountAvailable method as the handler for the IPageableItemContainer.TotalRowCountAvailable event of the control specified in container. The container parameter must contain a data-bound control that implements the IPageableItemContainer interface, such as a ListView control.
