L'attributo definito da questa classe associa informazioni aggiuntive sulla versione a un assembly.

Se l'oggetto AssemblyInformationalVersionAttribute non viene applicato a un assembly, viene invece usato il numero di versione specificato dall'attributo AssemblyVersionAttribute .

Anche se è possibile specificare qualsiasi testo, viene visualizzato un messaggio di avviso nella compilazione se la stringa non è nel formato utilizzato dal numero di versione dell'assembly o se è in tale formato, ma contiene caratteri jolly. L'avviso è puramente informativo.
