Is it legal to activate Office 2019 using CMD?

Question

Many people activate Windows 10 or Office 2019 using CMD. But I want to know if it's legal or not? Can it damage my laptop or it has any malware/virus?

That script does not contain a virus, it uses a method to activate your Office with a default licence key

It is definitely not legal and you should purchase an Office licence if you wish to use that software, and once Windows updates finds that has been done, it will disable your Microsoft Office . . .
