Raccolta blocchi per conservazione - Purview Data lifecycle policy

Question

Hi, I've a user with Onedrive almost full. After investigating the issue, I've found that there are many versioning file in the library and that those is not possible to delete because of a retention policy applied many years ago to the O365 for all users.

I've disabled the retention policy in Microsoft Purview Data lifecycle management that was set to keep content forever, imaging that this was limiting the possibility to delete versioning files.

I've than created a new one retention policy applying that only for One drive, setting it to don't retain but delete content if it's older than 5 days.

My question, is, since I'm not having results on the new policy, what's in the trigger period for the policy to become effective? The status is Enable (Success) but the folder Raccolta blocchi per conservazione is still full, I got this ID for the issue when I try to access that
