    I understand you're seeing the error: 
    “The credential is invalid. Unexpected sub status (6008)” 
    when trying to access Word. This issue may be related to account authentication or cached credentials. 

    To help you better, could you please clarify the following: 

    1. Are you experiencing this issue only in Word, or also in other Microsoft apps like Excel, OneNote, Teams, etc.?
    2. Are you using the latest version of the Word app?
    3. Is this happening only on your Android device, or also on a PC or Mac?
    4. Are you using Word Online or the Word mobile app?
    5. Are other students or users at your school experiencing the same issue?
    6. Are you using a Windows or Mac computer for troubleshooting?

    Some steps to resolve this issue may require access to a PC or laptop. 

    In the meantime, Here are some ways you can try on your Android:  

    • Sign Out of Your Microsoft Account in the Word App
    • Clear Word App Data
    • Uninstall and Reinstall the Word App

    Note: Please check with your institution to confirm that your account hasn’t been deactivated.
