Partner can't access one specific subfolder in shared OneDrive folder

Question

I've shared a folder (call it Folder X) on OneDrive with an external partner by generating a sharing link with edit permissions. The partner is able to access all documents in Folder X, including its subfolders and their contents, except for one specific subfolder.

Even when I try to share a direct link to that subfolder, the partner still can’t access it. The rest of the structure works fine.

• The permissions on Folder X should apply recursively, so I don’t understand why just one subfolder is blocked.
• I've double-checked that the subfolder is indeed inside Folder X.
• There are no explicit permissions set on that subfolder (as far as I can see).

Any idea what might be causing this?
