"Try GPT-5" button not showing in Copilot Chat when opened via Teams

Hello,

as written in the title when I access the Copilot Chat via Teams, I can't see the option to "Try GPT-5", which appears only when accessing via browser (e.g. Edge or Chrome).

I looked around in the documentation but I haven't found explicit mentions on why. I suppose it's an indexing/rollout issue, but does anyone have any official insights?

This is expected right now. Microsoft's announcement show the "Try GPT-5" toggle in Copilot Chat's full experience (the web app and Microsoft 365 app). The Teams surfaces of Copilot don't expose that top-right header yet, so you won't see the toggle when you open Copilot Chat inside Teams.

If you want GPT-5 today, open Copilot Chat in your browser and you'll see the "Try GPT-5" button there, your Microsoft 365 Copilot license gives you priority access.

Also, don't worry! As Microsoft migrates Copilot's model to GPT-5 it will be available soon everywhere. :)

Ok so it's an issue of gradual release, as usual. Do you maybe have a specific source I can look at for more details (if available)? It'd be helpful to also share this information with my clients.
