Surface Laptop 7 (Snapdragon X Plus) - Audio Out-of-Sync and PCIe Power Management Bug

Hello, I am experiencing a consistent audio synchronization issue on my Surface Laptop 7 13.8" (Snapdragon X Plus). After a few minutes of video playback (on any browser or application), the audio goes out of sync with the video.

Technical details and troubleshooting performed:

Issue Isolation: The lag does not occur when using external headphones; it only happens with the integrated built-in speakers.

Identified Workaround: The issue is resolved ONLY by modifying the PCI Express (Link State Power Management) settings. Specifically, setting it to "Moderate power savings" fixes the sync. If left on "Maximum power savings" (the default setting), the audio desync is constant and progressively worsens over time.

The Problem: While this PCIe adjustment fixes the audio, it causes a drastic drop in battery life, which is not ideal for this device.

Drivers: I have already performed a clean installation of the official driver pack (Surface Laptop 7 Update 25.101.12926.0). The resulting driver version is dated 08/04/2025, but the bug persists even with this updated version.

Audio Enhancements: Disabling "Audio Enhancements" in Windows settings did not resolve the issue.

I would like to know if there are any other possible solutions or if a software update is planned to address this bug without compromising battery efficiency.
