Nell'esempio seguente viene illustrato come abilitare le operazioni di trascinamento e rilascio all'interno di un TreeView controllo. Nell'esempio, qualsiasi nodo può essere trascinato in un altro nodo che non è un discendente del nodo trascinato. Il nodo trascinato, incluso tutti i relativi nodi discendenti, diventa figlio del nodo di destinazione. Quando viene usato il pulsante sinistro del mouse, il nodo trascinato viene spostato nel nodo di destinazione. Quando viene usato il pulsante destro del mouse, il nodo trascinato viene copiato nel nodo di destinazione.

Quando si crea un delegato di ItemDragEventHandler, si identifica il metodo con cui gestire l'evento. Per associare l'evento al gestore eventi in uso, aggiungere all'evento un'istanza del delegato. Il gestore eventi viene chiamato ogni volta che si verifica l'evento, a meno che non venga rimosso il delegato.
