pDC により指定されるデバイスと互換性のあるメモリデバイスコンテキストを作成します。

デバイスコンテキストへのポインター。 pDC が NULL のときは、システムディスプレイと互換性のあるメモリデバイスコンテキストが作成されます。

戻り値

正常終了した場合は 0 以外を返します。それ以外の場合は 0 を返します。

解説

メモリデバイスコンテキストは、ディスプレイ表面を表すメモリのブロックです。メモリデバイスコンテキストは、デバイスの実際のディスプレイ表面にコピーするためのイメージをメモリ内に準備するために使います。

メモリデバイスコンテキストが作成されると、GDI はそのメモリデバイスコンテキストに対して 1 × 1 のモノクロのストックビットマップを自動的に選択します。ビットマップが作成され、コンテキストに対して選択されているときだけ、メモリデバイスコンテキストに、GDI 出力関数を使うことができます。

この関数は、ラスターオペレーションをサポートするデバイスと互換性のあるデバイスコンテキストを作成するときにだけ使われます。デバイスコンテキスト間のビットのブロック転送に関する情報は、CDC::BitBlt メンバー関数を参照してください。デバイスコンテキストがラスターオペレーションをサポートするかどうかを調べるには、CDC::GetDeviceCaps メンバー関数の RC_BITBLT ラスター機能を参照してください。
