Hi,

I am currently using Win 10 and trying to upgrade to Win11. But I can't seems to upgrade due to error code 0xc1900209.

For some unknown reason, VirtualBox compatibility error keeps coming up even though I downloded and installed the lateset V7.0.2

The error still shows up even when I already fully uninstalled the program. Is there a clear solution or a way to bypass this error?

Thank you.

    Hi Rayen-616,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you do not have VirtualBox installed on your PC, then that error is usually caused by having an Android Emulator or the DN Player installed on your PC, those also use VirtualBox in the background.

If you have them installed, uninstall them and restart your PC, then try the upgrade.

Open File Explorer, then navigate to C:\Program Files

Is there a folder named dnplayerext2 if there is inside that folder you will find virtualbox.exe delete that file

Then restart your PC and check if you are still blocked form updating your PC

If you are still blocked, I will find the blocking file for you.

Open File Explorer, then navigate to your C drive.

Paste this into the search box and press Enter:

    *_APPRAISER_HumanReadable.xml

Create a new folder on your Desktop and copy any files found on that search into that folder

Then upload that folder to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.) and post a share link here, I will analyze those files for you.
