워드가 매우 느려져서 (긴 글을 작성 중)

느린 워드를 개선하기 위해

초안 보기 (Draft) 로 변경 후

옵션 -> 고급 (Advanced) -> 일반 (General) -> '다른 작업하면서 페이지 다시 매기기' (Enable background repagination) 옵션을 체크 해제 하면

페이지를 다시 계산하지 않아, 워드의 속도가 향상됩니다.

몇달간 매우 잘 사용

하지만 최근 7월 말 ~ 8월 초

갑자기 이 옵션의 체크 해제, 저장이 되지 않습니다.

Since you mentioned this behavior began suddenly in late July to early August, it’s quite possible:

Word was updated and changed its default behavior.

Your Normal.dotx template got reset or replaced.

Documents are opening in Print Layout, automatically re‑enabling repagination.

Try updating your default Normal template and force documents to open in Draft view:

Enable Allow opening a document in Draft view in Word Options → Advanced → General.

Switch to Draft view manually, make a minor change, then save the document so that Word remembers the view setting for that file.

For broader coverage, modify your Normal.dotx template (stored in %AppData%\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates) and save these settings there so new documents inherit Draft view by default. If the template is corrupted, rename the old one to force Word to recreate it, then customize the new one as desired.
