To cancel your Microsoft 365 subscription and request a refund for the automatic payment made via KakaoPay , here’s what you need to do:
Step-by-Step: Cancel Subscription & Request Refund
- Sign in to Your Microsoft Account
- Go to account.microsoft.com
Use the same Microsoft account that was charged via KakaoPay.
- Navigate to Subscriptions
Click on “Services & Subscriptions”
Locate your Microsoft 365 subscription
- Cancel the Subscription
Click “Manage” next to the subscription.
Select “Cancel Subscription” (or it may say “Upgrade or Cancel”).
Follow the prompts and choose “I don’t want my subscription” to confirm cancellation.
- Request a Refund
- Visit Microsoft Support and scroll to the refund section.
- Use the self-help refund tool or click “Contact Support” to chat with an agent.
- Explain that the payment was unintended and made via KakaoPay on August 7, 2025.
