Question about Windows System Restore and WPA Information

Hello,

I would like to confirm whether Windows System Restore also restores Windows Product Activation (WPA) information.

If I create a system restore point and later restore my system to that point, will the WPA data (activation status) be included and restored, or will I need to reactivate Windows after the restore?

Hi, System Restore in Windows doesn’t touch your activation status, so it won’t restore or undo your Windows Product Activation. If your system is already activated, using a restore point won’t deactivate it, and if it wasn’t activated before, restoring won’t suddenly fix that either. It just focuses on system files, drivers, and settings not license data.
