Request for Assistance with Legacy Domain Tenant (office.gntech.ac.kr)

Question

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

My name is Jeongseop Kim from the Information and Communication Center at Gyeongsang National University.

I am the MS administrator for our university (******@gnu.ac.kr), and our school currently uses the domain gnu.ac.kr.

Gyeongsang National University was formed by the merger of Gyeongsang National University and 

Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology (GNTech).

Previously, GNTech used the tenant domain office.gntech.ac.kr.

According to the information I received from the former administrator, that tenant domain (office.gntech.ac.kr) had been requested for deactivation and deletion.

However, recently one of the former GNTech users (******@office.gntech.ac.kr) contacted us, stating that the account still appears to be active.

Upon checking, it seems that the GNTech domain was not actually deleted.

The former GNTech administrator account (******@gntech.ac.kr) can no longer access the tenant domain (office.gntech.ac.kr), and at the same time, 

we currently have no way to delete accounts such as ******@office.gntech.ac.kr

Therefore, we urgently need your assistance with the following:

Please confirm the administrator ID(s) and login information currently registered as the tenant administrator(s) for office.gntech.ac.kr.

Please provide guidance on how we can delete accounts that belong to this domain.

This issue has been unresolved for several years, and we are now facing a large number of complaints from users requesting account deletion.

Your urgent support would be greatly appreciated.
