Windows11 그림판에서 폰트가 적용되지 않는 문제

최근 사내에서 Windows11을 신규 사용 중입니다. 그림판에서 사내에서 필수로 사용 중인 폰트가 적용되지 않아 문의드립니다.

1. OS: Windows 11
2. 프로그램: 그림판

• 폰트 파일 설치에는 이상 없음
• 워드, 파워포인트, 포토샵 등 타 프로그램에는 문제 없이 적용됨
• 그림판에서도 해당 폰트가 목록에 뜨기는 하나, 텍스트에 폰트가 적용되지 않음

4. 폰트업체에 문의하여 다음과 같은 답변을 받았습니다.

• 폰트 설치가 정상적으로 이루어지므로 폰트에는 문제가 없음.
• OTF/TTF포맷에 대한 문제(둘 중에 하나만 읽어오는 식으로 프로그램 시스템 변경), 일정 해상도 이상의 폰트를 프로그램에서 지원하지 않게 된 문제 등..다양한 경우의 수가 있으니 그림판 프로그램 확인 필요.

그림판에서 해당 폰트를 사용하는 경우가 종종 있어, 해결법을 알려주시면 감사하겠습니다.

Dear 황혜영, I’m Henry and I want to share my insight with your issue. While I’m unable to reply in your native language, I’ve translated the content to better.

It seems that Paint sometimes has trouble applying certain OpenType fonts, especially those with extra features, many special characters, or color layers. That’s probably why the font shows up in the list but doesn’t actually apply. A couple of things you could try:

1. Reinstall the font for all users
   • Uninstall the current font first.
   • Right-click the font file → Show more options → Install for all users. This ensures Paint can access it properly across your account.
2. Using the TTF type instead: Converting the font from OpenType (OTF) to TrueType (TTF) has helped some users get Paint to apply it correctly. 
   • Check if your current font type is OTF (Settings->Personalization->Font):
   • Contact the 'Kkodicssi' font vendor to request the TTF version and reinstall it (for all users)
