Important

Determines whether an instance of ComponentResourceKey can be converted to the specified type, using the specified context. Always returns false
.
This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.
public:
override bool CanConvertTo(System::ComponentModel::ITypeDescriptorContext ^ context, Type ^ destinationType);
public override bool CanConvertTo(System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext context, Type destinationType);
override this.CanConvertTo : System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext * Type -> bool
Public Overrides Function CanConvertTo (context As ITypeDescriptorContext, destinationType As Type) As Boolean
- context
- ITypeDescriptorContext
A format context that provides information about the environment from which this converter is being invoked.
- destinationType
- Type
The type being evaluated for conversion.
false
in all cases.
destinationType
is null
.
The ComponentResourceKey type should not use a type converter pathway to convert values (should use markup extensions instead). For this reason, the CanConvertFrom(ITypeDescriptorContext, Type) and CanConvertTo(ITypeDescriptorContext, Type) methods always return false
. The ConvertFrom(ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object) and ConvertTo(ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object, Type) methods always throw an exception.
