So I got a file that appear on my dashboard without any idea how and why. Or what the file is? is it a Virus?

file name:

speedhack_x64.lhvptg43._tmp.dll

I been deleting it ever since I got it. (2-3 days ago) But it still reapears on random times.

I tried google this file but it just gets me over to Cheat engine. something I have not installed or use.

    Good Day Jan,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

Yes, it appears to be a cheat engine to a game, you can try to scan your computer using Malwarebytes scanner to check if there are malwares or rootkits running in your system.

    Here's the link to download.

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thank...

Once downloaded and installed, open the app and perform a scan and check for infection.

Once the scan is done try to try to delete it, selete the file and press Shift + Delete on your keyboard to delete it completely.

Restart your computer once done and observe your device.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

Did not go so werry well. It still appears. Looks like it comes from the game Valorant from Riot Games. I will head over there and ask them what's this file might be doing and why.

    Thanks so far! :)
