Hello Mariaths1998,
Thank you for coming to the forum, my name is Fuad, and I will be happy to assist you in the best way I can.
After you changed your password, do you still keep getting this verification code emails?
If that is the case, then I will advise you scan your computer, because the moment you change the password, the person trying to access should no-longer be able to access because of the password change, except the password you changed to has also been leaked to them.
Please use a computer that only you have access, and you are sure is safe to change the password and then, sign out of all your devices and if you do so, you will need to sign back in on your devices like phones and the rest.
Kindly make sure all your information is up-to-date on your account, phone numbers, recovery emails and the rest.
Check that the two-factor authentication setting is correct and up-to-date: Click here and sign in to check and update your 2FA: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=529561
Change your password again, then you can go one step further to sign out all signed-in sessions so that anywhere you are signed in it will now ask for a password: Go to account.microsoft.com > Click on Security > Advanced Security Options Scroll down to Sign Me Out > Click on Sign me out
If there is anything else on this subject you have a question on, do let me know. If not, have a wonderful rest of your day.
Best Regards Fuad
