Får ikke lagret excel ark som CSV kommadelt fil. Alle CSV tilgjengelig i Office gir semikolonn delte CSV filer

Question

Skal overføre kontakter fra Excel fil til Outlook.

Problemet som oppstår er at når jeg skal lagre filen i CSV kommadelt er det ingen opsjon som gir kommadelt textfil.

Alle CSV filformater jeg lagrer i gir semikolon og ikke komma og dermed får jeg ikke splittet opp verdiene i Fra: feltet slik at jeg kan tilordne dem i Til: feltet.

Håper på snarlig svar på spørsmålet. :-)

Don't have Norwegian Excel, but is has to do with your locale settings. You probably use the comma as the decimal separator. Then Excel will use the semi-colon to separate the fields in the CSV file.

Go to Options, Advanced and disable 'Use system separators' and use a point for the decimal and comma for the thousands.

Now save your file as CSV and you should have comma's separating the fields. When done switch back 'Use system separators' and Excel will use the comma again for the decimals.

Have tried but still the CSV file shows semi-colon instead of comma.

I have opened the original file and changed the options to point and comma.

still I have the same semi-colon separater in the CSV fil and it does not matter which CSV option I save the file in.

Maybe I need to change the excel to be in Englis (UK) and not Norwegian?

Hi again.

For info to everyone with the same problem.

If changing the System settings and/or the language doens do the trick, there is a workaround that can be done.

Open the CSV file in Notepad and use the search and replace tool.

Then in seconds my CSV file was changed for semi-colon separators to comma. :-)
