I've misplaced my recovery key and am quite concerned. I'm hoping someone can offer advice on how to retrieve it. I understand the importance of this key and would greatly appreciate any assistance. I've already tried a few things, but haven't had any luck so far. Any suggestions would be helpful.

It is currently stored on my Microsoft account but the key doesnt work whenever i enter it manually.

You need to verify if the Key-ID associated with your device matches the BitLocker recovery key you're trying to recover. For more information, visit the following site: Find your BitLocker recovery key.

You can log in to your Microsoft account using this URL and navigate to the "Devices" section, where your recovery key is stored: https://aka.ms/myrecoverykey.

If you are unable to recover your BitLocker key, other options include resetting your device (which will erase all of your data) and restoring all of your data with a backup.
