We are exploring the possibilities to make use of Azure OpenAI and seem to have hit a roadblock.
We are based in Australia, and for some of our clients, it is critical that their data does not leave the country. So we are limited by the models that are offered in our Azure region. Currently, that is limited to GPT-4 and older - see https://learn.microsoft.com/nl-nl/azure/ai-services/openai/concepts/models?tabs=global-standard%2Cstandard-chat-completions#model-summary-table-and-region-availability
The latest retirement date for GPT-4 is Fri, Jun 6, 2025. Does that mean there are no models available after that date? Are there any plans to release newer models?
