PS4 Controller not detected by Windows 10

Question

Hi,

I have been playing games on my usb connected PS4 controller for a while now, but a week ago I started having issues.

Once every minute the game (rocket league) didn't detect any controller input and didn't give any sound. After 10-30 seconds it got back to normal again, this got worse and worse and now my pc doesn't even recognise that there is a controller. When I plug the controller in, it just gives a yellow light which turns off again after a second. Nowhere in device manager or control panel is anything to find related to a controller. I think this is a driver issue, but I am not sure.

I have tried multiple usb ports, multiple cables and multiple controllers.

Has anyone had this problem before, and does anyone have a sollution?
