I scrolled too far away in my whiteboard in the online version of microsoft teams and now I can't find the way back to the centre where all the information is, and the people I made the whiteboard with can't find it back either. Is there any way we can easily find it back?

    Hi Jascha,

Thank you for reaching out to this forum. I'm Utkarsh and as a fellow Microsoft user, I'm here and ready to help you today. I am a user like you, this is a user forum and not Microsoft directly.

I would be more than happy to answer any other questions should you have them.

If you've scrolled too far away in your whiteboard in the online version of Microsoft Teams and can't find your way back to the center, there are a few ways you can try to navigate back to the center:

    1. Zoom Out: First, try zooming out to get an overview of the entire whiteboard. You can do this by using the zoom controls or keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + "-" on Windows, Command + "-" on Mac).
    2. Pan or scroll: If you're able to see some part of the whiteboard canvas, you can try panning or scrolling to navigate back to the center. Look for scrollbars or panning controls on the sides or corners of the whiteboard interface.
    3. Reset view: Some whiteboard tools have a "reset view" option that allows you to quickly reset the view to the default center position. Look for a "reset view" button or option in the whiteboard interface or in the menu.
    4. Use the Mouse Wheel: If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can use it to scroll in and out. Scroll back towards the center to bring your content into view.
    5. Use the overview pane: The overview pane is located in the upper right corner of the whiteboard and provides a bird's-eye view of the entire board. Click and drag the red box to move around the board, or click on a specific area of the overview to jump to that part of the board.
    6. Pan or Hand Tool: If the whiteboard tool has a "pan" or "hand" tool, select it. This tool allows you to click and drag the whiteboard to reposition it.

Thank you for posting this case in Microsoft Community! I am Microsoft user just like you hope you are well.

    I am NOT a Microsoft Agent/Employee.

I hope this is helpful! Best Regards, Utkarsh
