Outlook data files like PST should not be kept in OneDrive because this causes sync conflicts and duplicate files. To fix this:
• Close Outlook.
• Move your PST files from the OneDrive "Outlook Files" folder to a local folder, for example C:\OutlookFiles.
• Open Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Data Files, and re-add the PST from the new local folder.
• In OneDrive settings, uncheck "Outlook Files" so it does not sync again.
This prevents Outlook from creating duplicate PST files and improves performance. I would also recommend keeping PST files under 10 GB for best results.
