Business value

This features lets you provide users with stronger security. You can validate if users attempting to access virtual table data actually have been granted access to the data in the source system.

Feature details

Currently, virtual tables rely on a single authentication model based on the connector being used and the credentials provided when creating the connection.

This feature will allow the use of token authentication when using Azure AD authentication on SQL or SharePoint as a secondary validation of access permissions to the original data source.
