DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD

Question

Hello.

For a few days every time I run my PC BSOD appears. It happens when turning on or waking up after hibernation.

Also happened 3 times computer got stuck in bios not seeing any boot option. Turning off via power switch and turning on again makes computer start with BSOD.

When it starts it works properly i would say.

I installed the newest graphic, WiFi and chipset drivers. Bios is up to date.

Windows memory diagnostics checked, fine.

CHKDSK /f /r done, everything seems fine.

sfc /scannow done, no damaged files detected.

SSD SMART in crystal disk info fine.

The device is Gigabyte A5 k1 gaming laptop with ryzen 7 5800H and rtx 3060, 2 years now. Windows 10 Home up to date.

That seems to be the last driver they have provided, but it should be the most compatible version of the driver for your system.

You mean the driver 2.12.18.304 for win 10 64bit DCH? It is really outdated, you think it's a good idea?

The best option would be to try installing the version of chipset drivers that Gigabyte provide for your A5 K1 laptop on this link then wait to see if your system is stable.

I also noticed that the problem is somwhere around SSD drive.

I downloaded chipset driver from AMD oficial site.

This is the source of drivers I installed.

Your minidump files all indicate it is the storage driver for your NVMe drive that is causing the system to crash.

You indicate you have re-installed the chipset drivers, where did you donwlaod and re-install those drivers from?
