Includetext field and crossreference not updating

I came across a following issue, and would appreciate your help a lot.

So the situation is as follow:

• I want to create a main document which would have a front page, some common data, test reports (inserted via includetext fields), last page with signiatures etc.
• Create from one to infinity :) test report charts. All of them would share same structure - headers, table naming etc.

So, I have my main, and I feed it with test reports from other documents (for instance two test reports). Headers get correct numbering, figures have their captions updated. So for instance in first test report in header 1.1.3 there is a table - environmental conditions (tab. 1.1.3-1). In main documents its get updated and the header becomes 8.1.3 and the tab is now 8.1.3-1). So far so good. I add another includetext field and everything gets updated BUT cross references. So the corresponding header becomes 8.2.3 and the table 8.2.3-1. Again, so far so good. However, the crossreference pointing to the second table with environmental condition stays as 8.1.3-1. Actualy there are now two crossreferences to that first table - first in the correct place and second, the not updated field. Switching to print preview, ctl-a f9, do not work.

A solution is of course manually copy and paste into main document. But this time I would like to dynamically pull data from several files and updating them after saving changes in the test report files. That would make life much more confortable. Is there any solution to overcome this issue?
