Windows 11 24H2 update for Asus ExpertBook B1 – when will it be available?

Hi,

I have a question regarding the Windows 11 24H2 update for Asus ExpertBook B1 (model: 1500CBA-0062X). Is there any information on when this update will officially be available for this model via Windows Update?

Back in February–March 2025, the update briefly appeared in Windows Update on my device, but attempts to install it resulted in issues during startup — the laptop would fail to boot into the desktop. After two failed attempts, the update disappeared from Windows Update, as if it had been pulled back or blocked.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this model, or does anyone know if Asus or Microsoft plan to release a revised version of the update for this device?

Well, there's nothing stopping you from upgrading to 24h2. I recommend trying to upgrade using Microsoft's update assistance from the link below:

I apologize, you're correct. I thought I saw a model with Intel 11th Gen. Perform the procedure below.

Go to the Command Prompt (admin) and enter the command: regedit

Go to the directories below and delete both.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\TargetVersionUpgradeExperienceIndicators\GE24H2Setup

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\CompatMarkers\GE24H2Setup

Restart your PC.

Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Then perform a clean boot and if you want to uninstall applications that you do not use.

See if 24h2 appears again after upgrading to Windows 11.
