Dear Team
This is my answer:
You're encountering a common issue in Microsoft Sway when embedded YouTube videos are removed or made unavailable. Unfortunately, once a video is no longer available on YouTube (or other external platforms), Sway cannot display it — it simply shows an error because the content source is gone.
- Open Your Sway Presentation:
- Go to Sway and sign in.
- Open the affected presentation.
- Identify the Broken Video Cards:
- Scroll through your Sway and find the cards where the video isn’t loading (you’ll see an error or a blank frame).
- Replace the Video:
- Click on the broken video card.
- Choose “Delete” to remove it.
- Then click “+” (Add Content) in the same section of your Sway.
- Choose Media > Video.
- You can now:
- Search YouTube within Sway for an alternative video.
- Or paste the link to a new, working video from YouTube or another supported service.
- Reorder and Resize as Needed:
- Use the layout options to match the original design.
- Drag the new video to the same position in your Sway.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
Best Regards,
