Check network connection: make sure your device is connected to a stable internet connection. An unstable or slow internet connection may cause the sync to fail.
Check login status: Make sure you are signed in to OneDrive using your Microsoft account.
Using the web version of OneDrive: Try logging in to onedrive.live.com to see if the files are accessible properly to determine if the issue is limited to the client app.
