Thanks for reaching out. Let's fix this step by step.

I saw there is a link or image that you are trying to share and I am sorry that is not working. If you can share another link for that, would be awesome. First, a few quick questions to understand what’s happening.

    1. What exactly is not working? Is Windows Security not opening at all, or is it blank or grayed out?
    2. Do you see any error messages when trying to open Windows Security?
    3. Are you using any third-party antivirus like Avast, Norton, McAfee, etc.?
    4. Are you signed in as an administrator?
    5. What version of Windows are you on? Press Windows + R and type winver to check

In the meantime, here's what you can try

Step 1) Open PowerShell as Administrator, then run this

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage
Then reboot and try opening Windows Security again.

Step 2) Open Command Prompt as Admin and run

    sc stop SecurityHealthService
    sc start SecurityHealthService
Step 3) Run full system repair

Open Command Prompt as Admin, then run

    sfc /scannow
    After it completes, run

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Reboot once both commands are done.

Step 4) Make sure Windows Defender is not disabled by Group Policy or Registry
Note: Backup your registry first (File > Export in regedit). Be very careful when editing the registry; incorrect changes can cause system issues.
Press Win + R, type regedit

    Go to
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender
If there's a value called DisableAntiSpyware, right-click and delete it

    Restart your PC.

Let me know which step works or what your current screen shows when opening Security at a glance. I’ll guide you the rest of the way until it’s fully fixed.
