PRODUTO (PRODUCT) Function Missing or Unrecognized in Excel for Microsoft 365 / Função PRODUTO (PRODUCT) ausente ou não reconhecida no Excel para Microsoft 365

I use "Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2505 Build 16.0.18827.20102) 64-bit".
I need to use the PRODUTO (in portuguese), which corresponds to the PRODUCT (in english). However, Excel does not recognize this function in either language. Excel treats the PRODUTO (PRODUCT) function as if it doesn’t exist.
It doesn’t appear in the list of functions, it doesn’t autocomplete (only this one function—other functions work normally) when I start typing a formula, and it returns an error when I try to use it.

I searched online for others with similar issues but couldn’t find anything.
I’ve tried both CoPilot and ChatGPT to help resolve this, but I keep going in circles, trying multiple "solutions", including:

1. Confirmed the correct function name
   Note: Not to be confused with PRODUCT in English. If Excel is set to Portuguese, only PRODUTO should work.
2. Checked Excel’s interface language
   If the interface is in Portuguese but set to accept functions in English, I ensured both PRODUTO and PRODUCT were tested.
3. Tested in a new blank spreadsheet
4. Updated and repaired Office/Excel
5. Checked for interfering add-ins or macros
   I launched Excel in Safe Mode (excel /safe) and tested =PRODUTO(2;3) in a new workbook. Didn't work.
6. Checked for language conflicts between Windows and Office
7. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft 365

I’ve tried all of the above steps—even on different computers using the same Microsoft 365 account—and the function simply does not appear or work.

I would really appreciate assistance with this, as I rely on this function for critical calculations.

Tenho o Excel 365 for Business, mas em inglês. Tenho esta versão: Microsoft® Excel® para Microsoft 365 MSO (Versão 2506 Build 16.0.18919.20004) 64 bits.

Portanto, não consigo ver se a função PRODUTO funciona ou não na versão em português. Para mim, a função PRODUTO funciona normalmente como qualquer outra função do Excel. Portanto, não entendo o motivo pelo qual ela não funciona para você. Talvez você tenha usado alguns suplementos (Add-ins) que entram em conflito com a função PRODUTO.

No entanto, em vez da função PRODUTO, você pode usar a multiplicação do teclado. Você pode usar esta fórmula:

=PRODUTO(3, 7, -1)

ou pode usar esta fórmula:

=3 * 7 * -1
