On older devices (e.g. iPad 2, Air), Safari and embedded browser components may not support modern Microsoft login flows, so the password field simply won’t load.

Even if the app supports older iOS versions, the authentication page may rely on newer browser features (like updated TLS, cookies, rendering) absent in older firmware.

What you can try is to reset OneNote and clear credentials, here's how.

This often helps reload the login flow properly:

Close OneNote (and all Office apps) completely.

Go to Settings → OneNote → Reset OneNote → Delete Sign-In Credentials.

Re-open OneNote and attempt to sign in again.

Also do this for other Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook), since they share credentials.
