Im getting the following error after trying to sign in to Azure with a student account.

O erro indica que o locatário (tenant) do Azure Active Directory associado à sua conta estudantil foi bloqueado devido à inatividade. Isso ocorre quando um tenant gratuito (como o do Azure for Students) permanece sem uso por um período prolongado, conforme as políticas de ciclo de vida de locatários da Microsoft.

Lá você encontrará informações detalhadas sobre prazos de inatividade e remoção de tenants.

Verifique se o tenant pode ser reativado:

Se for um tenant Azure for Students, tente renovar a assinatura acessando:
https://azure.microsoft.com/pt-br/free/students/

Caso o tenant já tenha sido desativado permanentemente, será necessário criar um novo tenant com uma nova conta acadêmica válida.

Se for uma conta institucional (ex: @universidade.edu), entre em contato com o administrador de TI da instituição para verificar o status do diretório no portal do Azure Active Directory.

The error message you are seeing indicates that your tenant has been inactive for more than 200 days after the billing cycle, which triggered Microsoft’s process to remove inactive tenants. At this stage, the OMS commerce system places a login block AADSTS5000225, Twenty days after this block is applied, the tenant is permanently deleted.

To restore access, the tenant must have been blocked for less than 20 days. After 30 days, the tenant is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

We can reactivate your tenant only if it has been blocked for less than 20 days, please share the requested details in private message so that we can reactivate your account.

Business impact and justification for restoring the tenant, and an explanation of the impact if the tenant cannot be restored.

Once we have the requested details, we can proceed with your account reactivation

I have the same issue. My Azure for Students tenant is blocked due to inactivity (originally activated in 2023).

When I access the Azure Portal, I can see two directories under my account, with two default directories linked to different onmicrosoft.com domains. I cannot switch to the second directory (the one linked to the old subscription) as it returns an authentication error. I believe this blocked/orphaned tenant is preventing me from reactivating Azure for Students , verification completes successfully but signup fails with an unexpected error.

I would like to request reactivation via private message.
