Não consigo reproduzir mensagens de voz do Skype (agora no Teams)

Question

Preciso de ajuda para recuperar mensagens de voz trocadas através da minha conta Skype, que agora aparecem nas conversas do Microsoft Teams.

Os áudios são visíveis, mas não é possível reproduzi-los. Surge a mensagem “Não é possível reproduzir este ficheiro”.

As mensagens foram enviadas em setembro de 2024. Gostaria de saber se ainda é possível restaurar os ficheiros de áudio ou obter uma cópia.

Hi Ana, what I'm trying to explain is that the error is in almost all cases, means the file is gone or inaccessible, so retrieval is not possible.

Yes, please escalate my case to the Skype technical team for further investigation.

These voice messages were sent in September 2024, and they are visible in the conversation, but cannot be played.

I would really appreciate if you could check whether the audio files can still be recovered or accessed from the server.

Thanks for sharing the details, Catarina! If those voice messages were transferred into Teams but cannot play, it likely means the media file reference exists (you can see the “audio” in the conversation) but the actual playable asset is not accessible or has a compatibility issue.

Even though the message placeholder still shows, in almost all cases like yours, the error technically means the file is gone or inaccessible, so retrieval is not possible.
