Usando o Outlook Clássico no Windows para gerenciar e-mails pessoais, calendário e contatos
Hi Oseias,
Microsoft’s account recovery system relies on the security information you added (alternate email, phone number) to verify your identity. If you no longer have access to those, the system can’t confirm ownership automatically. This is intentional it’s designed to protect accounts from unauthorized access, even though it feels restrictive when you’re the rightful owner. When you contact Microsoft Support, they require the original account details because they cannot bypass security checks or reset passwords manually. This is a strict policy to prevent account takeovers.
What you can do now is:
Use the Account Recovery Form (ACSR) Go to http://account.live.com/acsr and fill in as much detail as possible old passwords, folder names, subject lines, frequent contacts, even approximate dates. The more info you provide, the better your chances.
Submit from a familiar device/location Using the same PC or home network you used before can help the system recognize you.
Repeat with more details if needed If the first attempt fails, try again after gathering more info. Many people succeed on the second or third try.
If recovery fails Unfortunately, if you can’t pass verification and the account has been inactive for years, it may already be closed and unrecoverable. In that case, creating a new account (as you did) is the only option.
Let me know how it goes, Happy to help!
