• Delete everything inside these folders:
  %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\UnsavedFiles %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\Recent %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\PowerPoint

Turn OFF OneDrive AutoSave inside Office

• In Word/Excel/PowerPoint:
• File → Options → Save → uncheck:
• AutoSave files stored in OneDrive and SharePoint

Block Office from recreating cloud files

• Open regedit → go to:
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Internet
• Set:
  UseOnlineContent = 0 SyncBackOff = 1
