Recurring charges after cancelling Xbox Game Pass subscription

I subscribed to the 14-day promotional offer for Xbox Game Pass Premium in November 2025. After the promotional period ended, I cancelled the subscription and removed all payment methods from my account.

However, since December 2025, there have still been recurring monthly charges of €12.99 being attempted.

Even without available balance, the system continues to attempt charging every month, and on at least one occasion the amount was successfully charged.

I would like to know:

How can I confirm that the subscription is fully cancelled?

How can I permanently stop any further billing attempts?

How can I request a refund if I was charged after cancellation?

I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.

    I see that you are having issue with a recurring billing even though you have canceled the subscription.

    Regarding your questions on how to check your subscription, you can go to account.microsoft.com/services or log in to the Microsoft website and choose the subscription section. There you will be able to see your subscription status and list of subscription you have. If you want to stop recurring billing for that account, you can check and make sure recurring billing for all subscription has been stopped. Additionally, as I checked, the 12.99 charges don't seem to match the price of the Game Pass Premium.

    If you have already stopped all subscription on your account and still get charged, there might be other account that used your card before for subscriptions that that is why they are charging your card. In that case, contacting support could helps.
