Os tipos primitivos são Boolean, Byte, SByte, Int16, UInt16, Int32, UInt32, UInt64 Int64, IntPtr, , UIntPtr, Char, Doublee Single.

Caso o Type atual representa um tipo genérico ou um parâmetro de tipo na definição de um tipo genérico ou um método genérico esta propriedade sempre retorna false.
