Note   Starting with Windows 10, version 1703, this setting can no longer be used in provisioning packages. For more information on changes to the Windows Provisioning Framework, see Windows Provisioning Framework. This setting may have a Configuration Service Provider (CSP) equivalent that can be used instead. To determine if a CSP for this setting exists, see the description below.

 

Settings used to configure various desktop PC settings, such as replacing the "Wi-Fi" heading in the Networks list with "WLAN" and whether to always show the Network Selection control.

Topic Description

DisplayNetworkSelection

DisplayNetworkSelection specifies whether to always show the Network Selection control in the Mobile Broadband Properties dialog. Normally, the Network Selection control is only shown when the computer is roaming.

WiFiToWlan

Use WiFiToWLAN to change all Wi-Fi strings in the Windows 10 for desktop editions (Home, Pro, Enterprise, and Education) UI to WLAN, including the heading in the Networks list.
