    *Check the Recycle Bin, look for task.vds and restore it if it's there.

    *Use a File Recovery software, like Recuva EaseUS, Data Recovery Wizard or PhotoRec.

    *Check for backups, if you use OneDrive, File History, or backup software, you might be able to restore the file from there.
