Hello,I apologize that the issue persists. Please do roll back to 516.59 with a clean installation for the time being. I shall have our backend team look into the newer drivers to investigate the cause. As for the ACPI drivers,-> You may find these drivers on Device manager, under 'Battery' and 'Computer'.Ideally, these would automatically reinstall upon restart if they were uninstalled earlier. However, I would suggest you to check with the Laptop manufacturer prior to uninstalling and reinstalling the Driver.-> Also do update the AMD Chipset driver and the BIOS to the latest to ensure best results.I recommend you contacting the Manufacturer for expert guidance during the BIOS update.Do let me know of the results.Best Regards,GaneshNVIDIA Customer Care
Customer (. .) via channel 'CSS Web'02/03/2023 08:28 AMHello. When updating the driver, brightness cannot be adjusted... again. I used express installation and clear instalation, it has no effect. The latest driver is 528.24.
As for the ACPI driver... either it's not there, or I didn't understand... On the official dell website there is a chipset driver - AMD-Chipset-Driver_48M2K_WIN64_3.10.21.2037_A01 and a BIOS driver - Dell_G15_5515_1.0.8.Staff Account (Ganesh Babu) via channel 'Email'02/03/2023 02:33 AM
Hello,Thank you for the update.I am glad that seemed to help resolve the issue.I agree that a new driver should be more stable than older releases. However, there seems to be an unexpected before with Optimus laptops on the newer drivers.-> To investigate the issue further, do update to the latest driver and test if the issue surfaces again. This will help identify if it is specific to any driver version.-> As for the ACPI driver, it a Windows component which mainly deals with the power management of the PC.You may consider completely uninstalling it and reinstalling it if you experience a similar BSoD due to Driver_Power_State_Failure.And yes, you may count on my assistance if you experience any issues again. Please feel free to write back if you have any queries or concerns.Best Regards,GaneshNVIDIA Customer Care
Customer (. .) via channel 'CSS Web'02/03/2023 01:34 AMWow, completely reinstalling the driver and the program really helped! Brightness adjustment works, amazing! Thank you!
But the question remains that this driver is old, how do I need to update?
I hope there won't be any problems with the BSOD, but if there are, I can count on your help, right?Customer (. .) via channel 'CSS Web'02/03/2023 12:52 AMHello.
I update the drivers when new ones are released via geforce experience, there have been several times during the use of the laptop (since January 1, 2022)
Shouldn't a newer driver be more stable and suitable for new games and tasks? I don't want to lose performance.
At the moment I used the Cleanup Tool and reset everything, I'll try the Driver for GeForce Game Ready | 516.59 | Windows 10 64-bit version, Windows 11 | NVIDIA.
At the expense of the BSOD - ACPI driver - as I understand it, the chipset? Updated from the dell website.
I reset the power settings according to your advice.
Could there be a problem with the brightness of the AMD driver ? If install the old driver instead of the new (latest) now?
after installing the drivers, I will add the answer. Thank you for what you are doingStaff Account (Ganesh Babu) via channel 'Email'02/01/2023 07:22 AM
Hello,Thank you for the update.I would like to inform you that NVIDIA Control panel can only manipulate the brightness with OPTIMUS and the Integrated graphics disabled. With Optimus enabled, the Display would be controlled by the Integrated graphics and hence the brightness can only be manipulated on AMD and not NVIDIA Control Panel. However, it stands true that Windows settings to control Brightness should be applicable for both cases, with AMD or NVIDIA Graphics.Since, the option is not available from the Taskbar, we may need to investigate further.-> May I know if you have tested older NVIDIA Drivers with respect to the Brightness issue? If not, consider installing the driver from the below link and check with the issue persists.GeForce Game Ready Driver | 516.59 | Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 | NVIDIAGeForce Game Ready Driver | 512.15 | Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 | NVIDIA-> Please perform a Clean Installation of the driver for best results. A clean installation helps fix any issues with Driver files or conflicts.Download the NVIDIA Cleanup Tool (CleanupTool.exe) from the download link below:https://developer.nvidia.com/cleanup-toola. Double-click the executable to launch the tool.b. Click ACCEPT to accept the End User License Agreement.c. Click Yes at the confirmation prompt. The progress dialog appears.Click OK at the completion dialog to close the dialog.d. Once the clean-up is complete, you may install the older driver and check if the issue is specific to the driver.-> As for the BSoD, the dmp files to indicate crash due to Driver_Power_Failure, however, the driver in question seems to be different in different instances, including HDAudBus, PCI, USB. Since, the crash is not specific to any one device, it could be safe to say the crash is caused either due to Power management on the PC, ACPI drivers or due the Software.-> Does the BSoD occur when running any specific task/application?-> Have you tried reinstalling and/or updating ACPI drivers? If not, do try reinstalling and updating the ACPI drivers.-> Launch command prompt as an Administrator, type in "powercfg –restoredefaultschemes" then press the enter key. This will reset the Power configuration to default. Check if the issue reproduces.I look forward to your response.Best Regards,GaneshNVIDIA Customer Care
Customer (. .) via channel 'CSS Web'01/31/2023 06:25 AM1. I turn OPTIMUS on and off through the BIOS, so there is no screenshot.
2. It is not displayed in the taskbar. In the screen settings, in the settings, when you press the keys (F6 and F7 on the laptop are responsible for brightness), a change in the brightness level is displayed, but in fact nothing changes, the maximum brightness is constantly. I tried to adjust it on the integrated graphics through the AMD application, through the control panel it is regulated only when OPTIMUS is disabled (attachment - control panel with OPTIMUS enabled)

Customer (. .) via channel 'CSS Web'01/29/2023 06:28 PM1. After buying the laptop, I did not check the brightness, I immediately installed another system (there was windows 10 32 bit, changed to 64), I think we can assume that after reinstalling.
- Rather, from the very beginning I tried to solve this problem and the changes were after: all drivers (for the video card from geforce experience), bios, applications (the above-named geforce experience and amd software for the integrated core)
- Not regulated anywhere
- Due to reinstalling windows, I do not know this...
- All settings in the control panel, power and applications looked, work only after turning off optimus
- Dell G15 5515 ryzen edition laptop with RTX3060
I tried to watch it myself:
With optimus turned on, there is simply no "display" section in the nvidia control panel where the adjustment should be.
AMD does not adjust the brightness, the color brightness settings work, but this is clearly not what I need:(
When I turn off the device (integrated graphics), the ability to change the brightness disappears - keystrokes do not give any result.Staff Account (Soumya Ravi) via channel 'Email'01/29/2023 12:46 PM Hello,
