My Microsoft Account Has Been Hijacked — Urgent Help Needed

Hello Microsoft Support,

I believe my Microsoft account (******@gmail.com) has been compromised or hijacked.

Here’s what happened:

• I downloaded a game from an untrusted source.
• A command prompt window suddenly opened.
• After that, my Microsoft Edge browser theme changed unexpectedly.
• A few hours later, I received a text message saying that my phone number was no longer associated with my Microsoft account.
• When I tried to sign in, I was asked to verify using email addresses that do not belong to me.
• I noticed that the account still shows the same email address (******@gmail.com), but the avatar and data were missing.
• I lost access to services like Xbox, Windows 11, and licensed Minecraft.
• When I attempt to sign in, I get error 0x80048820 during sign-in attempts using phone or other alternative login methods.
• Every time I reset the password, I’m still unable to access the account — it keeps saying “incorrect password” even right after resetting it.
• It seems like my original account has been overwritten or is being shadowed by another account with similar credentials.
• Also, when trying to sign in to Xbox, the system suggests using an email address that doesn't belong to me and has never been linked to my account.

Please help me recover my original Microsoft account. I am willing to verify my identity with any necessary details (old passwords, phone number, devices used, purchase history, etc.).

This is urgent — I’ve lost access to both my Windows and Microsoft services.
